Is this excerpt any good?

It is interesting and I read all the way to the end, but it seems like the middle of a story. The only thing we know about her dress is her boots so i am not sure why he called her a whore. Also, in the beginning it seemed like she was maybe a fairy or small in some way, after all how can you hide under a bag of potatoes if you are full size. Anyway, if some questions are answered before this section, then I think it is good. I definitely want to know what occurs next.
