WHY could they baby be moving so much right now?

Well i am 39 weeks pregnant and my baby keeps on moving a lot. I don't know what body parts are moving but he keeps wriggling here and there. Why?? is he hungry, bored what? what could he be thinking or feeling and why is he moving so much coz i know its not involuntary movements as they dont make them now....
