Project Valuation. Any one has any suggestion on that?

I would like to create a valuation model of equipment purchase. (The equipment will generate revenue to me after an initial huge investment occurred.) Any idea on where I could find more information on how to create the model? In particular, I am really stuck on debt and equity calculation on the project financing activities. I am non-finance background, and strongly need help.
