My cat is stuck in a high tree. What should I do?

Can someone help me?? My kitten's stuck in a tree and this time she's way, way up there. She can't go down at all. She been there since this morning. My dad and a neighbor has been trying their hardest to bring her down. They tried to lure her with food, since my dad can't reach the very top of the tree because of his age he used a very long tube with a basket attached at the end to help her get on it. We even enlisted the help of a neighbor to climb the tree. He went to get her but once he had her in his grasp she wriggled away and climbed even further (she's not a very trusting cat and I'm sure she's very terrified of her situation). It's now nightfall and they've given up since they can't see anything. They said they'll try again in the morning. She's eaten a bit already since my dad gave her some food to eat a while ago. But I'm worried sick about her. I terribly want to bring her down. Can you tell me what else I can do?? I'm severely desperate. If I knew how to climb a tree, I would've climbed up there myself. I know I'll get a lot of judgemental answers here again, but I'm desperate. I love her dearly and I've searched on the net about how to bring her down. Some said that she'll be fine and she can get down once hunger and desperation sinks in. But some people said that she can't get down herself and she's going to starve, lose energy, and fall to her death. And I don't want to make her feel that deep desperation in the first place. Please, PLEASE help me. :((
